Zen Meditation Arts
The material for this series is recycled drawing paper and a drafting pencil.
These landscapes speak for themselves in title and content, as a lot of them have my thoughts written into the art, this is sort of my freeflow expressive meditation. I spent about 6-8 hours for each piece. These sketches were drawn expressively while listening to various types of music including classical, ambient, metal, and some original music. I plan to color some of them eventually and add more detail. All 11 sketches were made in August, 2015. I had taken a break from big ambitious expressive works since for years I had failed projects. I drew and drew until I burnt out and you can tell some of the more disorganized pieces were drawn towards the end.
